  • This patch allows you to subscribe to up to 100 groups in OpenSim grids and makes the viewer ready for the groups limit increase scheduled for Second Life sometime in the future.

2. New AllowEventHostingGroupPower patch:

  • This patch implements support for the new “Event Hosting” ability for group members.

3. New InventoryFetchDescendentsLogSpam patch:

  • Prevents log spam while fetching the inventory.

4. Updated BlurryAndGreyTextures patch:

  • This new version further improves the anti-hiccups texture cache cleanup algorithm.

5. Updated DisplayNamesSupport patch:

  • This new version adds support for Display Names in the “New IM” tab under Communication, as well as a setting to prevent the displaying of “Resident” as a last name for new users’ legacy name (see this first and this second message for details).

6. Updated HighlightPostsWithOwnName patch:

  • This new version fixes a crash bug that could occur when launching the viewer from a click on a SLURL in a web-browser, with nicknames highlighting on and an empty nicknames list.

7. Updated NewScriptFunctions patch:

  • This new version adds the new PRIM_ROT_LOCAL, OBJECT_RUNNING_SCRIPT_COUNT, OBJECT_TOTAL_SCRIPT_COUNT and OBJECT_SCRIPT_MEMORY constants.

1. New DisableCrashloggerByDefault patch:

  • Ensures that the default behaviour of the crash logger is “do not send crash reports” and renames its settings files to avoid client crosstalk.

2. Updated RestrainedLove patch:

  • This new version adds filtering of display names for @shownames.
  • When wearing a locked item, it now allows Wear and Add to/Replace/Take off outfit as default (can still be switched off from the Advanced -> RestrainedLove menu, should you have old RestrainedLife attachments that can’t deal with the auto-reattach of accidentally removed items).

3. Updated BlurryAndGreyTextures patch:

  • This new version fixes a bug (see this thread for details) and slightly improves the anti-hiccups texture cache cleanup algorithm.

4. Updated DisplayNamesSupport patch:

  • This new version adds support for display names in IM windows, in the Friends list and friends-related notices (see this thread for details).
  • It also fixes an IM log files naming issue that was introduced in the last version.

5. Updated HighlightPostsWithOwnName patch:

  • This new version allows the highlighting of chat/group IM posts containing your display name (can be toggled off independently) and allows you to define an arbitrary number of nicknames (just enter a list of words, either space or comma separated, in the “Nicknames” input line found in Preferences -> Advanced -> Chat/IM tab).

6. Updated Radar patch:

  • This new version fixes minor (cosmetic) bugs dealing with display names.

7. Updated RevertUIchanges patch:

  • This new version forces a refresh event for the Friends list when the Friends floater is opened (to deal with the asynchronous display names loading).

8. Updated CoolPreferences patch:

  • This new version implements changes to the Preferences -> Advanced tab, “Chat/IM” sub-tab to deal with the above changes.

1. New CleanerLogMessages patch:

  • This patch fixes a bug to get rid of the unwanted “LLError::NoClassInfo::” prefixes in the log messages, and disables the DEBUG log level for shaders in the logcontrol.xml file.

2. Updated RestrainedLove patch:

  • This new version implements Marine Kelley’s latest additions to RestraineLove (bringing the Dolphin Viewer on par with Marine’s RestrainedLove v2.3) and improves some cosmetic aspects of the inventory folder and clothing item context menus.

3. Updated BlurryAndGreyTextures patch:

  • This new version lowers the viewer’s memory usage in crowded areas (see this thread for details).

4. Updated AlphaAndTattooSupport patch:

  • This new version adds the missing “Tattoo” and “Alpha” menu items in “Edit” -> “Take Off Clothing” and in the pie menu for your avatar (in “Take Off >” -> “Clothes >” -> “More >”).

1. New keyboard shortcut:

  • Ctrl-shift-e to bring up the windlight environment editor.

2. New TextureRepeats patch:

  • Now you can set the repeats for textures on prims to up to 256 repeats per side. Looks kinda funny on a 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 plywood cube, but useful on sculpts.

3. New llTextBox patch:

  • Implements full support for the llTextBox() LSL function.

4. New DeRuthing patch:

  • This is a backport from the official Second Life Viewer 2.3 of its de-Ruthing (avatar un-clouding) feature, with an additional bug fix.

5. New FeatureManagerQuirks patch:

  • Fixes a couple of quirks in the graphic card feature manager code.

6. New ErrorMarkersLogMessages patch:

  • Fixes quirks in post-crash session log messages.

7. New LayersetWithoutCompositeLogSpam patch:

  • Prevents lag-generating log spam when encountering layer sets without composite.

8. Updated DisplayNamesSupport patch:

  • This new version adds Display Name support for the active speakers panels and for the IM windows title. It also fixes the lack of Display Name support for the Profile tab of the Silver skin. See this thread for details.

9. Updated NewScriptFunctions patch:

  • This new version implements Display Names related functions, and implements the viewer side code for the AGENT_AUTOPILOT flag in llGetAgentInfo().

10. Updated Radar patch:

  • This new version implements Display Names support for the Radar.

11. Updated AvatarKeyInProfile patch:

  • Fixes the issue with the avatar key not showing in the Profile floater for the Silver skin.

12. Updated ItemLinksAndMultipleAttachmentsSupport patch:

  • This new version implements new debug variables (OSAllowMultipleAttachments and OSAllowInventoryLinks, which are set to FALSE by default), so that the multiple attachments and inventory links features can be enabled only on demand for OpenSim grids, since they cause issues with grids not supporting those features (see this message for details).

13. Updated UnmappedVertexBuffersLogSpam patch:

  • This new version further reduces some lag-generating spam (only one warning message is now logged).
